At the of the quarter, and my college career, we had a Vernisage for the students. There were photography and writing students so most of the art for sale were gorgeous photographs. I ended up painting some postcards at the last-minute to sell.
A funny little house from one of our day trips.
This was from a day trip to visit Louis Jou‘s studio.
Above is my favorite tree in all of Lacoste.
This is a terrace attached to a classroom. It’s a pretty big testament to my teachers that I paid attention in class.
A view from the Lacoste soccer field, looking up at the Marquis de Sade’s castle. A fitting image to end my watercolor sketch memories on.
A little post card for my dear Aunt Suzie. Sun and the Moon. Ix Chei is traditionally a guy…so let’s pretend he’s in drag?
Another batch of thank you cards for my very wonderful and loving grandmothers. The top one is for Yia-Yia Fran Palmer and the bottom one is for Grammy Betty Wells. I’m not sure if I’m digging the muted colors all that much but in the eyes of my Grandmas I can do no wrong.
Another one in the mail:
Soon to come, a snake on a plane and whatever Lauren approves of.
This one is going to Derek in New Zealand:
This one is going to Meaghan in Portland:
She didn’t receive these until mid-august.
