Tina Turner turns 71

Today we all should honor the goddess and beam of light that is Tina Turner. For her 71st birthday I thought we should take a walk down memory lane and explore some epic videos ( I’ve provided YouTube links because otherwise they’d just be removed).

• She is easy, nice and rough in “Proud Mary”:

• Rocking the stallion metaphor in “Best.”
• Sultry and heartfelt in “Private Dancer.”
• What’s Love Got to do With it.”
• And she’s the only good part of the Bond Golden Eye Intro. (Mostly because Pierce has nothing on Sean Connery)

So celebrate tonight for the OT (original Tina).

I’ll admit to nothing, but, if I did have a Ya-Ya Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants type deal going on, these would be our  saints.  All of them deserve their own post but here is a quick overview:
